A few months ago I started stitching again, after a break of nearly 2 years... my pc broke down, and I had to do something! lol!
Anyway, I got bitten by the bug again... and started on my Christmas pressies. So far I've done 11, which I'm hoping to make into pillows for pressies. Anyway, as I'll be moving soon, I've decided to put the pressies on hold, and boldly started on one of my dreaded UFOs...
I really hate it! The piccie that is, not stitching! lol! The only think that keeps me going is that thought that it will be finished ones and for all! My plan is to then make it into a pillow and use it in the shed. lol! Honestly! *must learn not to enter competitions where I don't like the prize* Yes... I won it, and now I'm stuck with it!
This is how far I've gotten... hopefully will be done within a few days.

Oh my goodness! I think it's so pretty. And you are doing a great job on it!
I know how you feel about 'loosing the desire to stitch'. A few years ago I finished my 3rd HUGE project in a row and was just burnt out. I went so far as to sell off all of my stuff (I still can't believe that!). Now that I've been looking up all kinds of cross stitch links and patterns I'm sooooooo ready to do it again but now I have to buy back all of my stuff!!
I'm tellin' ya. Sometimes I'm not too bright!
BTW, what did you enter that won you that lovely prize? _________________

I won it about 4 years ago in one of the cross stitch mags here in the UK, the kit is by Bothy Thread. And... I really can't stand it! lol! I've won some really nice kits too, especially one of a beach chair that I just love (now and then it hangs in our bathroom, but I like to change the piccies on the wall)... here's a piccie of that one (old picture, not very good quality, before my days of digital camera!):

Finally... finally! It's done and dusted! I am so glad it's finished, as it's been dreadful to stitch it (even though I enjoy stitching, it's not nice to know you're gonna hate the finished picture).

lol! I'm afraid it really isn't my cup of tea. I've just started on another project... one I actually like! lol! It's a picture in nearly only brown shades, and it's of a man fishing. This time it will be a pillow of the living room... not the shed!
